Dave Payne is a co-founder of Kentegra and supports the sales, marketing, and fundraising positions. He has worked for Pricewaterhouse Coopers in the assurance business advisory group focusing on real estate mortgage investment conduit (REMIC) transactions, Freddie Mac as a REMIC modeler and Marketing Transaction Manager, and Deutsche Bank as a Collateralized Mortgage Obligation bond trader on Wall Street in New York City. He has also worked for the United States Central Intelligence Agency in their Procurement Department and with a FinTech start-up software-as-a-service (SAAS) company outside of Washington, DC, where he was the Head of Risk, Head of Product Marketing, and Head of Advisory Services before starting OpenRise Advisory, a practice serving turnaround and early-stage start-up companies across the mortgage, entertainment, lifestyle, restaurant, music, fintech, mobile application, education, transportation, firearm, and fitness industries. Dave earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Virginia Polytechnic and State University.
