Emma is an accomplished architect, a partner at Design Source, and a trailblazer in East Africa's built environment. She made history as the first woman to graduate with First-Class Honours in architecture from JKUAT, and later shattered glass ceilings as the first female president of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK). Over a career spanning nearly two decades, she has been instrumental n shaping the region through innovative, context-driven, and sustainable design solutions. Beyond architecture, Emma is deeply passionate about education and impacting young minds. She co-founded Kiota School, which now boasts an enrollment of 2,000 children across three vibrant campuses. Today, she remains a fierce advocate for mentorship, dedicated to empowering and elevating the next generation of female professionals across the construction lifecycle.
