Founder and CEO, Mace Foods Ltd

Margaret is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mace Foods Ltd, a company she established in 2002. After gaining experience with two large German spice-producing companies, she recognized a significant opportunity to develop export-oriented products for the European Union market and successfully built Mace Foods into a leading value-addition and manufacturing enterprise. Margaret is a qualified Food Technologist and holds a degree from the Technical University of Kenya. She further earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Food Science from Karlsruhe University, Germany, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the Kenya Institute of Management, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the United States International University (USIU) in Kenya. With more than 20 years of experience, Margaret is widely recognized as a resilient and visionary entrepreneur. Her expertise spans innovative value addition, supply chain management, and manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on enhancing agricultural productivity and creating export opportunities. Awards, Fellowships, and Leadership Roles include: Champion for Change – Africa Lead, USAID Feed the Future Program, promoting food security across Africa.
