One of our Aspire Launchpad alumni, Gloria Cherono, Team Leader of Tripple P, won a grant in the 2022 global Solv[ED] Youth Innovation Challenge. Tripple P, based in Kericho, upcycles food waste into fertilizer and animal feed.
Solv[ED] is an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a mission to drive innovation to solve world challenges. Ten innovators were selected from over 800 applicants to the inaugural challenge.
Victoria Mulwa (CEO, Arope Group Limited), received an award from ASIS International at their 2022 Corporate Security Conference. This award celebrates her commitment to supporting, promoting, and inspiring women across Kenya to be exceptional leaders in the security industry.
Damaris Irungu, won the Best Scriptwriter (Film) Award at the Kenya Women in Film Awards ceremony in 2021.

Nelson is the CEO of Sinapis Network partner in Ghana, Innohub. Innohub won the Investments Category and People's Choice Award at the 2022 40 under 40 Africa Awards.
Robert Belle received an international appointment as the Acting Presidential Advisor of East Africa. This appointment was received from the office of the Continental President for the AFCFTA Young Entrepreneurship Federation (AfYEF), headquartered in Accra, Ghana.
Robert Belle is the Managing Director of SMIP Consultancy and was nominated for the 2021 Forty Under 40 Africa Awards. Robert also was one of the winners of the TED Global Idea Search 2021. That video is here. He was also the ACCA Kenya Member Advocate of The Year Winner 2021.

Mark Kaigwa was runner up to Sinapis Alum, Mary Thuo, 2022 Global Compact Network Kenya SDG Pioneer Award. Mark was also invited to speak on one of the largest television stations in Kenya (Citizen TV).
One of our Aspire Launchpad alumni, Ghislain Mastaki (Co-Founder of Kivu Sokoni) was featured on TV. Kivu Sokoni is an E-commerce platform set to revolutionize food security, linking farmers, local suppliers, and vendors to households and institutions.
Ghislain and his team members were also crowned the Nairobi Regional Impact Summit Champions in the Hult Prize challenge held in 2021. Founded in 2010, the Hult Prize challenge is the world’s largest social impact competition organized in partnership with the United Nations.
One of our alumni, Samuel Macharia, was one of the 2021 Hult Prize regional winners at the Impact Summit in Dubai. He's the team lead of GREENECO.
Ayuma Michelle (Founder, Story Coach & Keynote Speaker at LetS with Ayuma) was selected as a Senior Youth Award Winner of the #ChooseToChallenge Storytelling Competition for African Youth. The competition was launched during Women's Month 2021.
Judith Asino's company, Mojo Skincare Products Limited, won an award for the Most Preferred Body, Butter and Lotion in Kenya at the 2021 Hair, Beauty, and Cosmetics Summit.
One of our Uganda program alumni, Alex Matovu (Partner, Signum Advocates) had his firm recognized at the Africa Legal Awards 2018 as a Highly Commended Law Firm. He also won the 2018 Legacy Award from the Uganda Christian University Law Society.
