Robert leads the country operations, teams, and expansion efforts to extend our footprint and impact in Rwanda. He offers strategic leadership, overseeing and maintaining quality program delivery, establishing and enforcing organizational standards, and reporting progress and outcomes. Previously, he managed the expansion of Sinapis programs within the coastal region of Kenya, which trained more than 570 blue economy entrepreneurs across 6 coastal counties. He also led and managed the social and environmental performance functions at Soko, an ethical jewelry brand and tech-powered manufacturing platform that connects artisans in Kenya with the global market. He is passionate about contributing to social and environmental impact, and a big believer in human-centered design thinking. Other focus areas include; lean data approaches, lean startup principles, and business models for social enterprises.

Robert holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Kenya Methodist University and MSc. in Project Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology.
