Sylvie oversees Sinapis’ core operations, managing the organization’s four entrepreneurship acceleration product lines in East Africa, the Sinapis Network of aligned partners across emerging and frontier markets, and the annual FORGE event. She brings a deep commitment to entrepreneurial impact and a strategic vision for scaling Sinapis’ mission across diverse ecosystems.
Previously at HOPE International, Sylvie launched the Malawi branch office, built a network of microfinance banks and savings programs, and developed new financial products, including an SME loan. Her formal education includes degrees in public policy, international business, and economics from Georgetown University, the University of Geneva, and the University of Richmond. Her research on entrepreneurship and sustainable finance has informed work at the UN, in academia, and among impact investors. Sylvie currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
