Yvette Ondachi is a Kenyan entrepreneur and business leader with over two decades of experience spanning pharmaceutical sales, marketing, supply chain management, and entrepreneurship. She currently serves as the East Africa Director for Sales and Strategic Partnerships at Sinapis, a Nairobi-based organization dedicated to equipping entrepreneurs with business training and mentorship.
Before joining Sinapis, Yvette held leadership roles at global pharmaceutical companies AstraZeneca and GlaxoSmithKline. In 2014, she made a pivotal career shift by founding Ojay Greene, an agribusiness venture focused on improving market access for smallholder farmers in Kenya and Uganda. Through Ojay Greene, she has worked with over 3,000 farmers, supplying high-quality seeds, offering agronomic support, and providing direct market linkages to urban retailers—significantly improving farmer livelihoods.
Yvette’s work has earned recognition from development agencies such as USAID, GIZ, SNV, and World Vision. She is also a sought-after speaker on entrepreneurship and social impact, and frequently shares insights across various platforms. A graduate of Strathmore Business School, Yvette is widely respected for her commitment to ethical leadership and sustainable development in Africa.
